This Privacy Policy explains how POOLPLUS LLC ("PoolPlus," "we," "us"), with operational backing by TotalPlan Services LLC, collects, uses, and protects your information when you use poolplus.app and our pool services (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
- Booking information: name, email, phone number, service address, city, ZIP code, pool size, service type, preferred date, and notes you provide.
- Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. PoolPlus never stores your full card number; we store only a secure customer reference.
- Service records: service history, technician assignments, and photographs of your pool and equipment taken for documentation purposes.
- Technical data: basic usage data when you visit our website (e.g., pages viewed), used to operate and improve the site.
2. How we use your information
- To schedule, perform, and document your pool services;
- To process payments after service completion;
- To communicate with you about your bookings (confirmations, technician assignment, updates, receipts);
- To send marketing communications only if you separately opt in;
- To comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
3. How we share information
- Your assigned technician receives your name, service address, and service details needed to perform the job.
- Service providers: Stripe (payments), Supabase (secure data hosting), and our communications platform (email/SMS delivery). They process data only to provide their services to us.
- Legal: we may disclose information if required by law.
We do not sell your personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
4. SMS / text messaging program
If you opt in to receive text messages from PoolPlus:
- Transactional messages relate to your bookings (confirmations, technician assignment and arrival updates, service alerts requiring your response). Marketing messages (offers, promotions) are sent only with your separate marketing consent.
- Message frequency varies based on your service activity.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier plan.
- Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from text messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at hello@mail.poolplus.app or (754) 203-4376.
- Opting out of marketing texts does not stop essential transactional messages about services you have booked, and vice versa; opting out of all texts means we will contact you by email instead.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Data retention & security
We keep booking and service records while your account or service relationship is active and as needed for legal, billing, and warranty purposes. Data is stored with industry-standard providers using encryption in transit and at rest, with access restricted to authorized personnel.
6. Your choices & rights
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in any marketing email;
- Opt out of texts by replying STOP;
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@mail.poolplus.app (we will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law).
7. Children
The Service is intended for adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes & contact
